Electric Circuits Activity—Measuring Voltage of Batteries

In this lab student use a digital multimeter to measure the voltage of a variety of batteries. Can you tell a battery’s voltage by looking at it? Only if you read the label! Batteries come in many sizes and voltages and one doesn’t determine the other.

Materials Needed
assorted batteries, digital multimeter or voltmeter
